Grey Expectations, Volume 2 Concept Album Available on Bandcamp
Wolves & Sheep is proud to announce that our hip hop and classic rock concept album “Grey Expectations, Volume 2” is now available on Bandcamp.
For those of you are a new to Wolves & Sheep, “Grey Expectations“ is a 3-Volume concept album that blends various genres including hip hop, classic rock, funk, R&B, soul, folk, blues, and country. The album is presented as a book, with each song representing a specific stage or chapter in one’s life.
The journey progresses chronologically from childhood to midlife crisis and is told from the perspective of various characters as they grow older and begin to wrestle with self doubt, external fears, and outside pressure.
The story starts with Volume 1 (AVAILABLE ON STREAMING), which takes place between birth and high school/college graduation.
Volume 2 begins after graduation when you have to choose between chasing your dreams or surrendering to the 9 to 5 lifestyle. You are no longer a child and exposure to the adult world begins to raise questions regarding what you were told when you were younger. Cynicism starts to creep in and you begin to question people’s intentions, organized religion, and technology.
